Okay so recently my parents became certified foster parents. A while back we started taking care of one of the cutest babies ever. He still lives with us but unfortunately we cant adopt him. Taking care of him got me pumped for foster care. Being this pumped I got really excited when I was told we'd be taking care of an 11 year old that was actually up for adoption.
     OH MY DEAR GOD THIS LITTLE BRAT NEEDS SMACKED!!!
     The day before she came my mom warned me that she has a bad attitude problem, lies, steals, and is very manipulative. I was told not to give her anything. I kept this in mind and the first day she got here she came into my room where I was goofing off on my electronics. She asked me about the videogames I had. I didnt think it would do any harm to show her so I opened up my ottomon that holds most of my games. First thing she says is "Wow you have so many. You should give me some!" I laughed it off and told her no. After a few minutes of her looking through them she said, "Wow there's a lot. It wouldnt hurt if you gave me some." I told her no again but let her borrow one of my games. I had become very uneasy about her. She wasn't allowed in my room without my being there unless my mom made me leave my room. I have checked my games many times and they're all here. Then as the week went on my mom would run to the store or take the baby to daycare leaving me to keep an eye on her and my brother. This is where the attitude reared it's ugly head. She has a bad superiority complex and insisted on making me feel wrong and inferior. She listened to me and my brother arguing and decided that I was being mean (probably siding with my brother because he's handicapped). She LECTURED me about putting him on the spot and being mean. This 11 year old girl who has known my brother for a week just lectured ME a teenager who has lived with and known my brother longer than she's been alive. This made me mad but being the passive agressive wimp I am I just said "uh huh" and told my mom when she got home.
     My mom gave this little brat a nice talking to and let's just say this little girl hates me now. Then she started just being rude to me, making comments on my appearance and nonglamour-girl behavior, arguing with me, and trying to get her little claws onto my ipad, laptop, make up, and games. Despite all this I decided to let her use some of my drawing supplies that she'd found(her room used to be used to store things and a lot of my stuff is in there). I didnt think anything of it until last night she tried to steal my sketchbook. MAJOR NO-NO with me. I was in the living room watching the baby while my mom went to the store. She came in and told me about a sketchbook her "aunt and uncle probably slipped into her bag for her." She asked if I wanted to see it and i said sure. She brought in a black sketchbook that had a small engraved on the back.  I immediately remembered I had one exactly like it but on "hers" the flower was covered in pink glitter. I thought for a second it was mine but then waved it off thinking that she wouldn't be that stupid. Well she went on showing me how her name was written in pen in the back cover, then she flipped to the other side of the book, "Oh and look at what my friend did." There were leftover bits where multiple pieces of paper had been torn out and a smiley face with an incomplete mouth was on the inside cover. The red flag popped up and I asked if I could see it. She let me see it and I looked more closely. No doubt about it, the pages torn out were pages I had drawn OCs on and the incomplete smiley face was one that my friend had drawn making a joke about how some anime drawings have incomplete mouths.
     I told her the sketchbook was mine and she kept lying. "No it's mine, I found. it in my suitcase," "My friend drew in this smiley face. I tore these pages out of the book. This is MINE." "Actually(this is her second favorite word after 'technically'), you'd be suprised at what my friends draw and my little sisters are destructive with books" "Really? Okay prove me wrong. My sketchbook is with the rest of the stuff in your room. Go get it and show me." "I dont want to look through your drawing stuff!" Then my mom came home and I told her what happened. My mom looked at the sketchbook and immediately knew it was mine. I was immediately accused of lying by the little brat and reminded her how to prove me wrong. She just kept babbling to her mom about how everyone calls her a liar, no one loves her, and she's rejected by everyone. She tells us this when multiple families are trying to adopt her. My mom immediately called BS on that. She told her how bad it is that she keeps lying and that there's no point because my mom bought that sketchbook for me so she reconized it. The REALLY annoying thing is that after she tried to STEAL my sketchbook, she tried to get me to GIVE her some of my drawing supplies. I wanted to take the sketchbook that she had written in with pen and drawn in and smack her in the face with it!
     Today she goes back with her foster mother and has decided that she is going to have a last Hurrah and make my day miserable. She's getting mad at me about all the "bad things" I'm doing. Bad things with her meaning, listening to videos on my ipad while playing on the computer(I do this because my laptop cant update adobe for some reason and cant play youtube videos, online games, etc.) and eating the last poptart because my brother may have wanted it. "That was the last one." "Yup" "What if Brandon wanted it?" "Oh well" "Is that all you can say about it? Just 'Oh well'?" my mom heard this and lectured her about that. She's still giving me attitude today. I'm sorry to sound so mean but I am so thrilled that she's leaving.
